Bachelor of Management Studies
Bachelor of management studies or BMS is a 3-year undergraduate program in management studies under Delhi university (DU) that nurture students with deep knowledge of management and it’s various aspects. The BMS course equips the students with necessary skills required to become a management professional through its learning and practical approach.
The BMS programme is similar to Bachelor of Business Administration or BBA in which skills and knowledge related to business management. BMS is a study of analytical aspects of business management while BBA is the overall study. Admission to the BMS program is on the basis of entrance exams such as DU JAT.

University of Delhi (DU-JAT)
University of Delhi one of the highest rank universities in India conducts its Joint Admission Test popularly known as DU JAT. This test is the gateway for admission to three courses BMS (Bachelor of Management studies), BBA (FIA) (Bachelor of Business Administration) (Financial Investment Analytics) and B.A.(Hons.) Economics offered by 16 colleges. The exam is conducted each year and the admissions are granted to the eligible candidates based on their scores in the entrance examination as well as the class 12 board exam.
Eligibility: (as per 2017 Notification)
- Aggregate of 60% marks in the 12th based on a simple average of the percentage scored in four subjects: one language English, Mathematics and any two other subjects
- The candidate should have obtained pass marks in each of the four papers considered for computing the aggregate
Selection Process:
Selection will be based on the combined result of marks scored in the Joint Entrance Test ( DU JAT) and the percentage scored in the 12th.
- Entrance Test weightage: 65%
- 12th percentage weightage: 35%
Written Test Pattern: Online Objective – Type.
Each question carries 4 marks and there is a negative marking of 1 mark for every incorrect answer.
Total Marks: 400
Duration: 2 hours.
